Accessibility Statement for the website digiteachers.eu

This accessibility statement applies to the service digiteachers.eu and has been prepared/updated on 26.09.2024. The service is subject to the law on the provision of digital services, which requires that public online services must be accessible.

We have assessed the accessibility of the service ourselves.

Accessibility status of the digital service

Partially meets accessibility requirements.

Non-accessible content

  1. The website is not yet fully compliant with the requirements.

Perceivable: Issues with scaling across different devices

Non-accessible content and its shortcomings

The scaling of the site across different devices is clunkier than we would like.

Accessibility requirements that are not met
1.3.1 Information and relationships

Perceivable: Poor contrast in link texts

Non-accessible content and its shortcomings
In some links and “more info” buttons, the text contrast is poor – however, these elements are distinguishable from the rest of the text in other ways besides color.

Accessibility requirements that are not met
1.4.3 Contrast (minimum)

Perceivable: Small text in the toolkit cards

Non-accessible content and its shortcomings
The text in the cards is too small when multiple cards are displayed on the screen at the same time.

Accessibility requirements that are not met
1.4.4 Resize text

Perceivable: Missing ALT texts

Non-accessible content and its shortcomings
Some content (mainly videos and images/videos in the toolkit cards) lacks alternative text descriptions.

Accessibility requirements that are not met
1.1.1 Non-text content

Operable: Navigation in the toolkit with a screen reader

Non-accessible content and its shortcomings
There are issues with navigating the toolkit page using a screen reader. If the page is read section by section, meaning each text item is read individually, the screen reader does not skip over the cards. Navigation by headings works for the first two adjacent cards, but if you try to jump straight to the third card, the program skips to the bottom of the page. You can navigate the cards by headings from the bottom up.

Accessibility requirements that are not met
2.1.1 Keyboard
2.4.1 Bypass blocks
